hey lads
ive tried various pre shave oils but dont like the residue it leaves. So im looking at either a water soluble pre shave such as castle forbes or Fitjar island stubble softener.
Anyone used either of these two?
Have tried both the ESC's pre shave and fitjar island's - I honestly feel the fitjar island does a superb job of softening the stubble. One of the few products that i own where the performance matches the description. You must give it a try , given that you can make use of ESC's 25% site wide BF sale !Have to say the Executive Shaving product is the best I've come across. Very reasonable price and lasts right through to the final pass as well as the quantity in the pump dispenser.
I would be interested to know more about your homemade pre-shave.i used the Fitjar Island Preshave bar for around a year,
It’s small but lasts ages.
I liked it and i liked it a lot however on a personal note i don’t use preshave at all now.
2 years ago i made my own and i reckon it was probably better than most pre shaves.
Whether any pre shave actually works is an argument for another day but i genuinely liked the Fitjar but i can also say i get the same results whether i do or whether i don’t.
The problem for me with Fitjar is their pricing.
i’m sure Executive Shaving do an oil free pre shave
There’s a lot of information out there mate.I would be interested to know more about your homemade pre-shave.
Recently I made my own aftershave balm, and was really pleased with it.
I feel the same about pre-shave. I use it because I have it, but I wouldn't buy any more. There’s a lot of information out there mate.
I still have all the ingredients so might make another batch just to give me something to do.
As stated above i’m unsure if pre shave actually works
