Please tell us more, and if possible a review and how it shaves!
Just ordered an OC with the "D" plate. Seeing as how I"m right next door (province-wise) it should be here fairly soon depending on manufacturing.
I'm lusting for this razor. Which plate on OC would be similar Fatip Piccolo if anyone had experience with both?
The Nacet is a good option too , my Karve seems to like them.Got mine later on today before the delivery office closes and had a shave with OC-C plate/Astra SP, had 2-3 days growth on, my beard grows slow tho.
First impressions are pretty good, there is a certain blade feel, not overly but its there as I can hear my beard being cut, slightly less blade feel than Fatip that Im used to. Definitely smoother vs fatip, 2 passes and it was DFS. Which is what I used to do with Fatip but 2 passes with Karve gave me closer shave than Fatip would.
I wouldnt call OC-C mild in my book. For example mild for me was Razorock Babysmooth, it was so mild that I only used 2 times, I needed 3 maybe 4 passes with RR BS where I can be done with 2 passes with Fatip and Karve OC-C.
No irritation, very small cut near my adams apple but I was being reckless as it felt so smooth and went fast a bit.
Blade aligning is perfect and its so rigid. That aint moving anywhere, Im gonna try the blades that I didnt like using with Fatip such as GSB, Feather, GIllette 7oclock sharp edge etc. Those blades felt very harsh to me on Fatip. Ill see how they feel in Karve.
I`m happy that I went with OC-C plate probably could have done with OC-D plate too but not anything above that.

Hi RussellR5555Now that is a thing of great beauty !View attachment 41530View attachment 41531
They were promotional shots from Karve , but what does bring the matt finish back to pristine is if you make a paste of 1 part salt , 1 part vinegar , I part flour coat the razor in it and leave for a few mins then rinse off. Sounds mad but it works.Hi RussellR5555
I own a Karve Razor myself (I need to order some pesky AA and B SB plates someday... UK Import Duty aarrgh...). Its a solid razor which minimizes DE blade flex (that pleases me a bunch), I just cannot get on with brass! I'm not a fan of patinas or water stains. I was just wondering how you keep yours so pristine? Or is it a brand new razor for you?
BTW, nice photo!
Cheers.
