I don't want to sound too churlish as this was a gift, but I'm afraid I have to say that overall this cream is a disappointment.
First impressions are terrific. Quality box and very nice clear, straight sided jar with a simple black lid.
Open the jar and the bergamot/citrus fragrance that hits you is one of the nicest I've come across, but now comes the disappointment. The cream simply does not lather.
I have tried it with different brushes, I have tried working it longer and the only way I have found to produce anything like a reasonable lather is to increase the quantity of cream I'm using.
Now that may not sound too serious a problem, but I'm talking about probably 4-5 times more cream that I would use compared to say Trumper's and at least twice as much as I would use of even my real cheapo creams.
This is marketed as a luxury product and I imagine it comes with a similar price tag to the better end creams, so I'm sorry to say IMO it doesn't step up to the mark.
