erasmic shave cream

The Erasmic website doesn't reference their 'traditional' products at all, maybe time to stock up at Savers...

The traditional cream is good :

I've also got the soap bowl (glycerin) and stick (tallow) but not tried them yet. For £1 at Savers they're worth a try.

The new product lineup looks smart in a 'Brylcreem rebranding' sort of way but I think they're missing a trick phasing out the traditional cream, bowl and stick (if indeed that is what they're planning to do) These older products have their fans around the globe.

The "Supreme" range is supposed to supplant the traditional...

Yes the supreme range has been out for quite a while but is sold alongside their older range. They even appear to have reintroduced the older tallow based shave stick.

The original shave cream, 75ml in a metal tube, made in Jordan, is the only product I like out of their range. The new cream has different ingredients and is a bit thin on the lather.

I love the smell, too. It reminds me of my grandad. In a good way. :)

I've recently bought some Erasmic cream that comes in a metal toothpaste tubes for £1 in Savers. It has instructions on how to use it written on the tube. It also has 'Made in Jordan' written on it. I love it as it goes on well with a warm, wet brush. You only need to use a small amount in a bowl. So far, for me it's the best.

I also saw the same stuff in plastic 'hair gel' type tubes with 'Supreme' written on it. I'm not too keen on those for some reason. I don't know if they're made in Jordan as well, as I didn't venture to pick one of those up.
