First shave with a Neil Miller straight razor

Hi all

Sorry in advance if this is in the wrong place to post this.
Received my frame back straight razor from Neil yesterday so thought I would try it out straight away.
Well I've never had a shave like it it, it was the most comfortable and closest shave I've ever had and what an edge.
Sorry about the ramble so will rap up by saying thank you to Neil (who is a true craftsman) and that I am now never going to use a cartridge razor again :D

I would say "never say never".. :roll:
But a straight razor is almost "indescribable" of the feeling as I couldn't explain it to my father in law who cant use one (hand injury's)

Framebacks are excellent..is yours Swedish or where is it made?

Your right it is hard to explain what its like.

Its a 11/16 made by Ramaix in St. Julien, Yonne, Burgundy, France it's a beautiful razor.
I say never because cartridge razors are exspensive (so saving money sort of :D ) and the GF is encuriging me to buy more shaving stuff so win win :lol:
 
I'm glad it did the job for you Andy - you deserve a bit of luck after that Ebay dog you got caught with. I'd post the sellers Ebay ID if it was me - I hate con-men.
