Good places for decent suit in Glasgow?

You could try: Slaters on Howard Street; House of Fraser on Buchanan Street; The Italian Center on Ingram Street if you're feeling flush; John Lewis in Buchanan Galleries. I would stay away from Sauchiehall street, as it's pretty much just pound shops and other tat, which is a shame as it used to be good.
I have to confess I bought my last suit in Next, so perhaps I'm not the best person to advise you. Oh, and it's pissing down. Good luck.

Thanks for that Gorbals. Noted for future reference. I took a look at the weather forecast and headed south to Manchester, which is just a tad nearer, instead. Lovely day down there, and successful. Drew a blank in Newcastle last weekend.

How much are you looking to spend? If you have the spare cash and are really serious about this suit, I think that Higgins and Brown, amongst other tailors, operate in Glasgow. There's nothing that can quite compete with a bespoke suit!
