Hi all, new to the forum, but not new to wet shaving. I've been trying to find a handmade shaving bowl here in the UK. I can't believe that everything I find on Google is from US pottery outlets. Does anyone know where in Britian the potteries are hiding?
I used it this morning, so it's not as sparkling as it would be if clean. The razor is a Single Edge, which is about 4 1/2 inches long, so it's a fairly big bowl:-

Thanks.
It's also rather nice because, being a sort of "fine china", it's not as heavy as some bowls, and the heat gets through it quickly when filled with, or steeped in, hot water.
Thanks.

I do not know which part of the UK you're based, but there is in Wimbledon (South London) Stephen Llewellyn (Abbey Mill Pottery) where they have pottery (one day) classes. You could make your own bowl. I live just down the road and often look in on the mill/shop and see classes. It's all done in one session. I've been tempted but not got round to it as I'm not really a shaving bowl user. It's only a suggestion though.
