Hi!
Looking forward to contributing to the room. I’m from Berkshire originally, grew up just outside of Cardiff (South Wales) and in the past few years have become a bit of a wanderer! I’m a big fan of music from the 50s-90s.
Discovered DE shaving after I woke up one morning 11 years ago looking like someone had whacked my lip and an infected hair follicle turned out to be the culprit. I’d been shaving with multi-blade cartridges ever since I was 14/15 and had become jaded with the rising costs. My doctor blamed cartridge razors for the lip problem so I decided to look into other options.
I took to DE shaving like a duck to water thanks to some great videos on YouTube and have never looked back.
My vice is buying too many soaps and creams. I’m a fraghead and I’m also a menthol head too.
I am due to finally get my first vintage DE razor shortly but currently have in the collection:
