Well that was the 1st - it most definitely was not the last, the Scottish grain and Portuguese fortified wine was also visited over the next few hours, well, I do need the practice. What a difference the company of friends make to ones wellbeing.

This is a wonderfully scented soap. The lather quality is creamy and very slick too...
The shave with the razor paired with this blade was another good session. Smooth and comfortable in 3passes without any issues for a dfs finish. The aftershave surprisingly matches well with the soap...similar.

Nice simple setup. The Speick is a superb precursor to the Lord scent-wise. and I'm getting to grips with how thirsty this soap is and getting a very nice lather from it.

Not what you'd expect

It was bought as a novelty item. It's a good soap but not a GREAT soap. The scent is described by the seller as: "This unique fragrance begins with top notes of fresh bananas and juicy grapefruit, middle notes of kiwi, juicy bubblegum, and strawberries; and a hint of vanilla as a base note." It's definitely a sweet bubblegum type scent and synthetic to me but a fun one to use occasionally. Thanks

Ah I do so love the cubebe, one of these days I will pick up the EDP as well!

Karve doing it's job admirably with the D plate, not sure about the Minora with it though, think I prefer my normal GSBs.

Another lovely soap, lightly scented but lathers so easily and thickly it’ll be a keeper! The post shave feel is great as well. The razor is so easy I’ve never had a rough shave, it’s so smooth and as such one of my all time favourites.
A great start to the week!
