Semogue Mistura — Mixed Boar and Badger

Semogue's Mistura knots — mixed boar and badger, aka bodger — are amongst my favourite brushes. I have the SOC Mistura and the Torga-C5 Mistura, both have 24mm knots, albeit set at different lofts. I went to order the Torga-C3 Mistura (22mm knot) from Vintage Scent but it has been dropped by Semogue; a tad bothersome as my preference these days is for 18mm-22mm knots. I managed to secure one from YourShaving, who still ship to the UK. If you want a Semogue Mistura 22mm knot, before it becomes unobtainable, best hurry before Semogue Torga-C3 Mistura's are all gone...

Does anyone know how these compare with the Vulfix Grosvenor 404?

The difference in face feel is pronounced. The Grosvenor feels more sparse, still scrubby but without the sumptuousness of the Mistura. The splay on the Mistura's are more progressive yet also have more backbone, especially with the shorter lofted C5 and C3. The SOC, C5 and the C3 Mistura's are larger on the face than the Grosvenor.
If you enjoy the Grosvenor any of the Mistura's should hit the spot.
