Nice set up.
I am on the look out for a clog pruf.
If they are any where as good as the 1912 I would be over the moon.
Question. Is your delicate disposition purely from head banging Rob?
If they are special in your view then that is good enough for me mate.Hi Wayne,
I've only used both razors in question a couple of times but the Clog Pruf is pretty special. If I see one in good condition it's a definite buy from me.
As for my 'delicate status'. It's a combination of excessive drinking and excessive nodding.
If they are special in your view then that is good enough for me mate.
Get well soon.
If you can get your hands on one Wayne do so, Nuff SaidNice set up.

I am looking but they all seem to be over the pond ATM. I think patience is going to have to be my virtue here.If you can get your hands on one Wayne do so, Nuff Said
Shame you'll be going up when we go downA celebration shave tonight still top of the league and no I'm not a Utd fan lol.
If you see one even in the USA as long as they ship using the Global Shipping Program at least you know it's all paid up front so don't write off the US. I will keep a look out for you and let you know if something comes along at a decent price including shipping. P.I am looking but they all seem to be over the pond ATM. Excited by the prospect though.
Thursday's shave.......
Prep: Hot shower and L'Oréal face wash
Razor: Micromatic Clog Pruf (on loan)
Razor blade: GEM Personna
Brush: Maseto 24mm Silvertip
Bowl: Little Wren Pottery
Cream: TOBS Eton College
Post: Thayers witch hazel and Fine Italian Citrus
Second use of the Clog Pruf on loan from @Boru62.
I'm extremely impressed with this razor. Great to handle and very smooth. After the third pass I was amazed how close the finish was.
I did have an issue with my stubble regrowth being uncomfortable the first time I used it. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
The TOBS Eton College preformed really well. Great scent and slickness. Unfortunately I did have a little irritation from it.
The Maseto Silvertip performed brilliantly again too.
Finished off with the Italian Citrus and next to no feedback again. The scent is still lingering a couple of hours later. The face feel is lovely from this stuff.
Off to see (The mighty) Electric Wizard tomorrow night in Nottingham. This is where I got my username from...
In Doom we trust.:devil::
Cheers
Rob
Edit: I thought this belated SOTD was worth posting as it was the second shave with the Clog Pruf very kindly loaned to me by Kevin. No issues with uncomfortable stubble regrowth this time.
Current status: delicate...after seen 'The Wizard' last night.

A Schick with twin injector blades is fantastic, some of the best shaves I have had have been using these. I have a few injectors but only tried twins in a schick adjustable.Sotd - Saturday - 19/8 -
Razor - Schick
Blade - twin injector (1)
Brush - Vie Long Anniversary 2 band
Soap - Tabac
Post - Witch hazel
A/S - Tabac
Balm - Weleda
Scent - Dior Eau Sauvage.
Result - oh man what a shave. Hours later, I'm still rubbing my face in pleasure. First use of the vintage Schick - a fantastic razor for me. I'm not sure which model it is - looking at pictures - I think it is most likely to be an L type. Short black ribbed handle and a chrome head. I'd be happy to be corrected on this if anybody knows better. Quite light in the hand but what an efficient razor. The angle was intuitive for me. No learning curve. I don't know whether it is an incredibly good razor on its own or the twin blades made the difference? I hadn't used either before today. Mild but incredibly smooth and comfortable in use. Tabac soap - yes - I'm addicted to both the scent and performance. I will need to use it once a week otherwise I will be jangling - walking on balloons man. (good luck with that reference if you are not Glaswegian) So - operation use brushes not made by Maseto. The Vie Long is a class act - the best two band I own by far, cloud soft tips and all the backbone you might expect. The bulb knot is a work of art. It's a beautiful thing. If you got the chance to buy one you are as fortunate as I was. I think they are sold out now. Gifts and Care were the only supplier - if I remember correctly. A splash of Tabac aftershave and some Weleda balm. @Wayne Pritchard - Just to save the dragons you understand? I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a shave that much - and with a new razor. Enjoy your shaves gentlemen - yours - I.
Oh - can you still get new-stock twin injector blades?
