Shaving Recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Bulldog Peppermint & Eucalyptus Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Nivea Men Originals Shaving Cream.
Blade: Wilkinson Sword Classic. (D1)
Razor: Mühle R41. (2013)
Razor: Cien Men Twin Blade. (Head) - (D2)

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Nivea Refreshing Toner./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

(Face & Head Shave)

A new shave set up to start the weekend. I can't recall the last time that I used the German WS blade which is another good match for the assertive semi-open comb Mühle R41.

The Nivea Men Originals shave cream never fails to provide me with a super protective slick lather leaving a good post shave feel. Superb stuff!

The Cien twin blade disposable provided me with a close comfortable acceptable head shave and like the Gillette guard the swivel head design glides easily wonderfully over the curvature of my precious swede.

Another close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.;)

I hadn't used this soap in quite some time, probably because it was out of sight (pushed out of view by other soaps & creams.)
From scent to performance, there's nothing not to like about it. It was gifted to me by our absent friend Brian, @culreuch

Nice chilled one this morning, wasn't sure about the Roam 2 scent initially. Weirdly it seemed a little fruity from the soap/lather to me, but as I progressed through the splash and EDT it seemed to ease off and ended up being quite pleasant. Perhaps not as rugged leaning on the leather/tobacco/smokiness as I had imagined (clearly had the wrong picture in my mind), but nice.

Lovely finish that has set me up nicely for the day.

Leisurely head and face shave with the classic Tabac soap producing masses of thick lather, couple of passes and done with a smooth noggin and old mush the result. Used a hot flannel to warm and soften bristles first as it’s starting to get cold outside this week. Have a warm comfy weekend!
