love the vintage soap bowl Mike, is the bottom part original? I’ve only managed to find the lids, perhaps not surprisingly given their age. Alan

As a lifetime non smoker I never thought I would take to RazoRock Puros given its tobacco connection, but I just love it, as does more importantly the boss. Don’t think I’ll be taking up smoking cigars, but I have acquired some old cigar boxes which are very useful for organising my stash of blades.
Anyway, oh yes, the shave, thanks for asking. It was close, comfortable, with no irritation, although to me the S blade seems to cut closer than the Captain mild, so care is needed with this bad boy.

another satisfying shave with a new soap.. great protection, slickness, and a lovely post shave feel. great scent too.
can't go wrong, really.

I thought I had posted yesterday, I can't really say it's age, mid 50s isn't old - now that I'm there anyway! Must be the fact that I was quite lazy after my long run yesterday!

All Shaves were Gillette Slim loaded with a Nacet. 2 passes+ pick ups each time, setting 7 then 6. The weekend shaves were both BBS, today's DFS as I needed to get into a meeting so rushed a little.

Saturday - Britannia was superb, allowing me to turn up the first pass to 7. Great smelling for much of the day, decent longevity.

Sunday - PAA Droid black, getting low on this soap and as I like it a lot, will be on my list for Christmas!

Monday - Tabac stick with a bit of tallow Tabac grafted onto the top, so a bit of a mix up. Great lather and possibly ruined by rushing. Followed up with the splash.

Pre - Sainsbury's Luxury Soap, Bergamot & Nectarine
Brush - Simpson Commodore X1 Best Badger
Soap - 1912 Irish Fern
Razor - Supply V2 Mirror Polished
Blade - Personna Injector
Post - Cold water Rinse
Balm - Tonyschin's Cedarwood and Patchouli Argan Oil and Balm
A/S - Pinaud Whiskey Woods

That was a nice shave, the little X1 performing brilliantly with the Wickham's soap. The Supply injector feeling great in the hand and continuing to impress.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All
