That is a platinum shave there! Think you will be on your hands and knees a while picking up all those names you dropped! And why not? Had a friend of mine point out recently that I have got in to a habit of saving things for a special occasion, and told me to use them now. Using nice things will make the day a special occasion, and we're worth using good stuff every day. Cracking open the 180ml ADP today in your honour sir.Saturday 3rd August 2019 AM

A really comfortable 3 passes with a DFS+ finish. No touch-ups required.
I'm enjoying the Marvel and will give another blade a few shaves in it before switching razors. The BDT blade has been a good match for this razor.
I'm also now a fan of the TOBS Rose. A lovely light smell and an awesome performer. The EJ Best brush is also often overlooked but brings a smile to my face every time I use it. I'd happily recommend this brush to anyone starting their shaving journey.
Davidoff Cool Water is today's scent.

First shave with Arko; it felt great at the time - good lubrication, however post shave feel, skin felt quite dry - slightly uncomfortable.
The Pils is my go to razor at the moment, loaded it with a Gillette Nacet; previously my shaves with the Pils have been with Feather, Gillette Silver Blue or Gillette 7 O'Clock Yellow. Of those blades the Yellow's have been my favourite.
Sunday's shave was my first try with the Nacet in the Pils; OMG - what a shave - DFS in 2 passes, my skin felt amazing after the second pass, and I decided just to leave it thereIn addition to the Nacet, I also shaved with a sample of Wickhams Super Smooth - wow; can't believe how good it felt on my skin.
Today, I had a 3 pass shave - BBS finish; my skin still feels quite dry - I'm in two minds whether the Arko will get another run out tomorrow or not; that said the Nacet felt slightly scratchy today; not as smooth as the Yellows... I'm not sure whether the skinn drynesss cane from the Arko, the Nacet or both? I have one schet of the Wickhams SS left to try; at the moment, I'll give that another go with the Nacet.
All the best,
Chris
