New razors for me; custom Drew Dick pair. 9/8" 1/4 Square point and 8/8 1/4 'notchy'.
These are very special since I came up with the idea of upcycling steel from double barrelled shotguns and gun stock walnut to make razors. I sourced barrels and the walnut from my local gun shop, and Drew experimented making damascus with it, and here's the result, the first double barreled razor Cutting edge is 01
Having been unexpectedly away for the whole weekend rather than just Friday night I was in rag order when I got home earlier. No fear, out with the 1940s Fritz Bracht Tennis 5/8 extra hollow that I had given some attention to recently. A quick tickle on the leather and a wonderful shave was had, bringing the phisog up to mil spec. Nice.
