Well that was quick. The Castle Forbes has a strong sour limeade aroma, whilst there is no real discernible scent from the Gentleman's Face Care Club. It's very subtle and just removes an unscented type natural smell.
I try to decant to a bowl rather than load from the tub. I found out the hard way that creams can be very susceptible to spoiling quickly from even a little cross cross contamination or residue water. This is an excellent cream with a very subtle scent, all though the brush took an awful lot of cream when giving the tub a quick swirl.

TOBS, T&H, GFT are no longer all made by the same manufacturer. We have around 10 companies capable of producing creams other than Creightons.
With MANY thanks to Sabre for his sample.....
This is a very nice cream. Does it all it should do apart from deliver on 'flavour' . Barely a sniff to me. I certainly would not buy it. You buy lime cream because it smells of lime? This doesn't. If you want an excellent cream at a good price then maybe this is ok.
I'm using a tub of this now, but I want to try a stronger scented lime next time, perhaps a T&H. Yes it is very subtle, ie barely there at all. The original GFCC is a really pleasant sandalwood scent which you can still feel, well smell, a while after shaving
If you like lime I recommend you try Trumpers West Indian Limes cream.
It's such a pleasant scent you can get addicted to the stuff !
Is the Trumpers one actually called 'West Indian'? I can only find extract of limes.
Truefitt & Hill's lime range is called West Indian, GFT is just extract of...
