Tues 7th June

Stirling Kong
Vitos Red Croap
Merkur Futur
Lab Blue [4]
Alum Rub/Rinse off
Massimo Dutti A/S Lotion

Injector to DE
Thought that as I had recently used a PAL Adjustable , I would have what is now a rare DE shave. I chose
the Futur which like the PAL has a Space -Age look. There is no doubt that the use of SE/ Injectors has improved my shaving skills. I was able to use the quite heavy Futur without any mishaps to get a nice close
Shave.

Good morning Nick,
Your obviously loving Mervyn's brush but can I ask which Silvertip knot you have.
I have one on order with a TGN Grade A Silvertip and would interested to know which knot you have and how it performs.
Many Thanks
Regards

Hi Steve will try to answer your question mate regarding Nicks silvertip, the one that Nick has in both of his brushes are just a Chinese Silver-tip knot thats handmade by my supplier, I have used this guy Scott for a long long time now and very happy with his service and quality of knots, the knots are really soft and have a great water retention, compared to the TGN knots! the TGN are slightly more expensive around about £5.00 dearer than my regular Silvertips from China, the TGN knots are darker in colour and have a little more backbone and a bit more denser knot I would say!

Would I consider changing... no I'm very happy with both companies who supply me
Hope this has help a little Steve.

Merv
