Got to be worth a punt from the bay, £3.47 & now on a slow boat from China. Our lass can get her cooking bowl back soon
I just had a look on flea bay and came across a decent looking John Clarke and Son Sheffield SR. Round point 5-6/8ths. Scales look good nick. It's my first Sheffield SR. I'll send it to my favorite Scottish Hone Meister for a tickle up. Hope it's a good one. Soon find out.
I'd be interested in your reason for not pulling the trigger?I also looked at that an hour ago

Ah! OK. I understand that feeling. I just wondered if you found any fault with it, Now I feel a little better. Thanks.Totally skint I'm afraid, spent a lot on my DE set up, plus I'm a bit scared on going down the SR route.

Evening Rob, been thinking of buying the LPL fougere for quite some time now myself. I'd appreciate getting your thoughts on it,once you've given it a lather.
cheers mate
Pulled the trigger on some Saponificio Varesino soaps today hope to have them tomorrow and give one or two of them a go. Who said DE was cheaper ????
Which ones did you go for in the end?
