@Number Six - thanks for the excellent pic and reminding me of products I need to return to. I haven't picked up my Cobra Classic for ages. I think I'll need to get some new blades. I have none of the Pro-guards left and only Pro-Super blades. Perhaps not a good place to start after a year or so of not using the razor. It demands total respect. I haven't used the Spitfire in a while. An excellent soap. I've had my issues with P&B soaps - when their products work they are top-end but unfortunately I bought-in early and ended up with, in some cases, under-weight contents or unusable scents - my Star Noir reeks of ammonia. I fully understand that Kerry and P&B's principal suppliers offered to sort this out - but life's too short. The wrong time and place - given they were at the crest of the wave of the recent revival of British soap-makers - in my opinion - to bring products to market too early and with insufficient testing. When it works it works superbly - I ration my Denali, equally I rate my Citra Royale as superb. Spitfire ditto. I'll probably get my head in my hands for saying these things but this is an honest - and hopefully fair and balanced - account of my experiences. I would still wish them the best of luck and thank them for innovating. I
Cobra :: Maseto :: Phoenix & Beau :: B&M Classic
@1morepasswill - damn - that's two Classic Cobras on show tonight. I will have to get mine back out. Nice brush.IHaven't used the Cobra Classic for a while, mainly down to the fact I've been trying new de blades. I could use this razor every day.

It's one to savour, the Cobra. We should count ourselves lucky to have one[emoji106]@1morepasswill - damn - that's two Classic Cobras on show tonight. I will have to get mine back out. Nice brush.I
@1morepasswill - That's correct - I happened to luck out one day - two or three years ago? - on the Executive Shaving website - they were in stock and I hit the button. They haven't had any for sale since. These might be the Slims and Fatboys of the future - all we have to do is live long enough to realise our - wisely-timed - investment. I'm still quite scared of it but my prep has come on leaps and bounds since the first use of it. I will take the precaution of picking up some Pro Guards though. Oh - what's that brush - handsome. I found the Cobra a bit unforgiving at first but it's a dream shaver now. That's a limited edition Omega brush made for an Italian forum called IL Rasoio@1morepasswill - That's correct - I happened to luck out one day - two or three years ago? - on the Executive Shaving website - they were in stock and I hit the button.
