Not sure if this helps, for me a very light touch and watching the angle. I get good audio feedback when I hit the sweet spot. I also hold the Rocca closer to the head, compared with other razors, making sure that I find the balance point so the head is neutral in weight, if that makes sense).
I also find that the Astras (SP Green) work for me well with the Rocca. I could not get the Gillette Nacet's to work (tugging). However, that was one pack, which could have been a bad batch, and I will try that blade again at some point, taking some advice from here not to right it off just yet.
I find it a classic and close to the best DE razor I have used. I appreciate that at the moment your milage does vary, and I do hope that you can get the Rocca to work for you.
