Underappreciated creams

Some products get plenty of press, both the official kind and mentions on learned forums such as this, some regularly fill out top ten lists, but there are plenty of great performers out there that get overlooked.

So what's a top-notch cream that, in your opinion, flies under the radar?

I'd have said things like LEA, Crabtree & Evelyn, Edwin Jagger, Gentlemen's Tonic and even Maca Root all do a great job but rarely get a mention (or not as much as they deserve).

I'm sure I'll hear differently, but I haven't really come across any soaps or creams (with the exception of Wilkenson blue bowl) that hasn't been top-notch. I don't think any of the vendors would sell a sub-par soap or cream.

Every Bulgarian offering I've tried to date has been an excellent performer. Supermax, Kapo and Herbs / Rose of Bulgaria all have fairly good availability and offer good VFM.

I was going to chime in with my usual "Rose of Bulgaria" which you beat me to ... but did offer up one I'd quite forgotten about: SuperMax. Yeah! That's a smashing cream and just so cheap ...

My offering? Vicco, although it is no doubt massive in India.

This isn't necessarily about the cheapest, just creams that perform really well but seem to get overlooked for some reason. Murdock is another example of a good cream that you rarely see mentioned, even more so in top 10 lists.

@Steve Bowles - you lucky man, I've had a few stinkers, some not cheap either

@Benz3ne - I wasn't impressed with it, their brushless is better imo

@SeanC - I've only tried Kapo, perfectly adequate stuff but didn't blow me away

I tried Dove Men+ Extra cream tonight. Light, sweet cologne scent. Need a bit more practice with the lather as it's glycerin-heavy but it is slickness by the bucket! Quite nice and one I can see in my regular rotation! Unfortunately, it seems to have been discontinued!
