Feather DX AC • Cadman Gold Carbon • Perairas Orange/Cinnamon

First shave with the Pereiras shaving soap with activated charcoal, so to soon to draw a conclusion.
This soap is thirsty. I ended up with a very slick and creamy lather that that was very thick and dense.
Together with the Feather and KAI Protouch my three days of growth was removed with ease.
The lather rinsed of my face easily and the postshave feel is well above average.
The scent is nice and balanced with clear orange and cinnamon notes.
Definitely a very promising start with the Pereiras soap.

Sunday 1st July 2018
Pre shave: Warm shower and Proraso green
Razor: Merkur 45C
Blade: Polsilver Stainless (#1)
Soap: D.R. Harris Arlington stick
Brush: Simpson's Chubby Synthetic
Post shave: Alum block, cold water splash and Thayer's Cucumber witch hazel
AS: Alcolado Glacial

First shave on holiday, 3 days growth off in 2 passes. Saving the EDT for later as just going straight into the pool.

Sunday

Valobra Menthol
RazoRock BC Silvertip 24mm synth
Face lather
ER 1914
Gem SS PTFE w/rubber band shim
Thayer's Cucumber and Aloe Vera
Proraso M&E after shave

A good shave. On balance, I prefer my 1912s when it comes to vintage SEs. The Little Lather Catcher did a fine job of two days' growth, though. The non- tallow Valobra is a great soap also.

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Rudy Vey Shavemac Silvertip Badger
Soap: Wholly Kaw Jamestown Gentleman
Razor: UFO Tornado / ATT M2
Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium (2)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel / Myrsol Emulsion
Scent: Loris Azzaro Pour Homme

Down to the mildest plate in the ATT open comb range - the M2. It is still efficient and more mid than mild. A five day growth was dispatched with ease. Three passes for a DFS+.
I enjoyed the Jamestown Gentleman scent - slightly sweet but not OTT.

I'll get me a tube of Arko green when I spot one in the shops. Haven't tried it yet and I love everything Arko. :)

I'm also hunting for the ne Arko Black cologne, an homage to Paco Rabanne Black XS. The Arko Gold Power is take on 1 Million.

The Arko green (Hydrate) cream is excellent, really good slickness with no drying out issues, I've had the Gold Power, yeah it's a good budget Cologne, doesn't have much staying power, but why it lasts, it's wonderful...I'm fortunate that my skin type likes arko products, some people don't get on with them..
