I can't enjoy shaving in the small bathroom in a caravan. Too cramped and the mirror steams up very easily.
My next shave will be at home in my own bathroom.
A fresh blade loaded today. The last blade lasted for four comfortable shaves.
Finished with Mentally Vigorous and BoIs Du Portugal and ready for a trip to some beaches

OSP Orange and Patchouli Soap
New Forest Tubby 1 Badger Brush
Baili 'Tech' with a 7 O'Clock Permasharp Blade
Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Aloe Vera Gel
Pashana Original AS

A rather demanding shift last night.....so I had a late awakening. Three passes and just a little touch up gave a really comfortable and smooth shave....setting me up for the rest of the day. The weekend has arrived:)

Fri 7th Sept
Vulfix 404 mixed
Vitos Super Red
ATT SE1 + Windrose Handle
Schick Proline [ 1 ]
Jaguar Prestige A/S Lotion

After a week of mixed Shaves, It was quite nice to feel assured that Today was going to be good. Without thinking picked out a Brush / Soap combination that would make any Shave work. With a great lather and the ATT loaded with a fresh Blade the Shave seemed very quick , but the quality of the finish was up there with the best. The extra weight in the handle seems to power the Razor through the whiskers.

And for my shave this day Friday 7th September 2018 the theme was 'Matching Tie and Underpants'

Timeless 0.95 in matt stainless
Polsilver Lodz
Muhle synthetic ivory brush
ADP Collezione Barbiere cream
ADP Colonia Club aftershave balm
ADP Colonia Club EDC

Today my theme was based on my first real run out for the Timeless 0.95 bought from here on the BST. Many thanks to Imunro69 for the great opportunity. I have actually used it once before but that was a quick trial to make sure all was in good order. To give it a big welcome to the 'shaving cabinet' I decided it would be deserving if I used the better of the products as a supporting act. Whether they are actually better remains debatable but it made me happy to have complete ADP in the software department.

After using a 0.68 for the past 6 months or so and being utterly delighted with its ability, manufacture, aesthetics and general all round 'what a bloody great product' I always had it in the back of my mind to get the version with a bigger number. So a 0.95 it was to be. It is (as expected) every bit the equal in all round 'what a bloody great product' and only let down slightly by the fact I do have a fetish for shiny stainless steel, rubber, PVC, whips and furs. I can live with it though and it doesn't detract from being a very capable razor. I must say the blade gap in terms of what I am used to is sodding huge.........I am going guess 0.95

I was expecting a competitor for the Ikon SB here, but completely wrong. It doesn't feel any different to the 0.68 but there is a definite feedback ring which indicates there is some serious whisker removing going on here. I mean this is the 'Cradle of Filth' of feedback. It appears to be quite happily continuing to remove facial hair long after it has thrown in the towel in and surrendered to the blade. Very efficient and very smooth. Zero blood extraction which is always a nice plus point. It is certainly shaving closer than the 0.68 but I am not sure it could be a day in day out razor whereas I could live with the 68 everyday. However I am more than pleased to have it to hand and it will see regular use. SE's aside.

I still think the 68 is more an 'object of desire' due to it being a shiny stainless desirable object and if it came to a 'Belle of the bathroom' competition, move over 95. Your figures maybe more pleasing to the eye but the 68 has that sexy appeal you fail to possess.

Yup a worthy contender in the God of razors stakes.

The brush is a brush.

I rarely bring the ADP cream to the sink but I should do more often. I rather forgot how wonderful the lather is from this cream. Thick, creamy, lathery, cushiony, ADPy and with that old fashioned scent which reminds one of days well past..........except today of course.........and every other day one uses any ADP product. The matching aftershave balm being very skin calming and does a very nice job of moisturising and nourishing. I still remain to prefer Cade but as I set out to be total ADP it did make sense. And it does rather work hand in hand with the choice of EDC. Which is totally unlike the non matching tie and underpants in the title of the theme.

So I walk away from the bathroom being masterfully shaved and carrying an air of Italian masterclass. I am very pleased with the Timeless 95 even if it doesn't quite catch my eye to the same extent as the 68. However as long as I don't clean the tap it will be very welcome to sit by the side of the pool and strut its stuff.
