Shave 4 for me and all went very well, no pre shave apart from hot water.
I used my Gold Dollar 206 and a big badger, ( the brush...not the whole animal )
The lather stuck to my face as you would want and was superb all during the shave, I done 3 passes and could have scraped out 4 if needed, so the volume was there.
I am 100% sure that I have the water balance sorted and to avoid blue proraso, I prolly will give the green a go again as it is totally different from blue and it never gave me any bother before, I expect it to work ok with No:8.
Even tho I missed out the pre tonight and all went smoothly, I still miss the pre scent and the mindset of my normal routine.
So.... imo...this soap is a quality soap that a awful lot of big soap producers cannot match, I have no idea of the production costs but would defo buy it at around the £20-25 range, again to remark on the scent, it is really nice and kinda blends in...not overpowering but there, and gently noticible, tbh I don't like over perfumed soaps of any kind. I will mix things up again for my next shave but knowing that I can revert to tonight's shave as a safety net
Maybe go DE using the big badger again...or another try with the horsehair, a nice aggressive razor that will test the lather cushion and glide a bit more.
Still like to hear from anyone using the blue proraso pre shave and does it affect your lather sticktion :/
