Soap and splash are a pleasure to use. The splash turns milky when shaken, which I guess livens it up? It's scent lingers strongly for hours too.
I hadn't used my Bronze Timeless for a long time. It was like meeting an old friend - safe and dependable.
I polished it with Brasso wadding prior to using it, to bring it up to 'lile new' appearance.
Something as shiny as this deserves better than 'patina' imo.

A hoe type razor Dave? Looks very like the garden rake I used to sweep up leaves today! Respect, that blade looks pretty mean baby to me!

Picked up a mid thirties Schick injector, honey bakerlite handle, mottled gilt finish, swing lever to allow cleaning after use. It needed a clean to get of ancient grime and verdigris and it came with a pretty rusty blade still in situ so probably not used for many a year. Popped in a new Schick blade, applied super smooth creamy Proraso Sandlewood with a no name bristle and achieved a great two pass finish; no drama. Still amazes me that these old razors still deliver a great result, as Schick designers of the day intended and after being dormant and unloved for so many years.

First time using the Supply SE, bit more of a learning curve on account of the different cutting angle than I'd thought, but looks promising - not likely to replace my go to de's but definitely a place in the rotation I think. Forgot how good this Stirling set smells though .

Today I turn 50 and I kept back the last sliver of the TDS Rose Notes soap for this occasion. It's easily the best soap I've bought since I started this pastime. The matching ASL remains, but the Extro Cosmesi Barroco will now have to step up and assume the mantle of favourite soap in the locker.
