...I am giving it a couple of days, I have noticed a positive difference after doing same with my other Boars...as others have reported the handle on the Stirling feels great in the hand with a pleasing weight to it. I am not sure the knot will have the level of backbone & scrub I like as the knot appears identical to my Omega 10081, which is good, but not like the 10290 or Omega/Proraso...but let's see...How long are you soaking yours for?

Some original Acqua di Parma Colonia soft shaving soap for backup arrived.

A back-up bottle of my favourite aftershave and the new Saponificio Varesino soap.
Just had a quick sniff of the SV soap and I like it but I'm not blown away. It smells like a masculine Cologne with hints of spice in the background. That's the best I do to describe the scent I'm afraid.
I think if you're a fan of their 70th Anniversary edition you'll like this.

These acrylic omega range of brushes are bigger than I expected and quite heavy-duty with a great knot. Also speick aftershave and two shave creams direct from speick in Germany, arrived in two days from order to door Wow!!! and a free bar of hand soap.
