SOTD: 3/8/2017 - "With a Stick"

Pre: Hot shower
Brush: Semogue 620 Boar
Soap: Shaver Heaven "Forbidden Forrest"
Razor: Hone Type 15a w/ Voskhod blade (1)
Post: Vintage Hai Karate aftershave

This shave may have me smelling so good, I'll have to beat the ladies off with a stick. I found the HK at an antique store yesterday. One. Freaking. Dollar!

+ 1 on the Vintage Hai Karate aftershave..a absolute bargain for one Dollar!..i myself got 3 bottles of the modern edition for one pound per bottle at poundworld in the uk..I'm now a sort after Hai Karate aftershave ladies man..unfortunately after ive had a generous splash of it on the old face, i now need personal bodyguards when entering the shopping centre to keep the ladies at bay from making mad passionate advances towards me..wonderful stuff, love the baby powder fragrance,once it's mellowed out on your skin.Keep those ladies at bay.Regards.:D

Extro Special shave today, first use of their cream and splash and what a scent too. Love first sight.

First use of a Gibbs No 17 razor I acquired off @Blademonkey and my gosh what a comfortable and smooth shaver. Everywhere I have searched all the reviews are glowing and after my initial use, I will be adding my own name to that list. I used a Polsilver and followed the advice I was given and everything was smooth sailing. I am looking forward to trying all the settings. If you get an opportunity to try one, take it.​

Great shave. This is a most interesting tallow shave soap. I am using a sample and the lather is simply explosive. This is a citrus soap, but a bitter take on orange and very, very different. Hauntingly so.

You have to be careful when applying it..the government should have a public health warning on the bottle this aftershave contains irresistible fragrance properties..that make women making mad passionate advances towards men when applied.BE WARNED!!:p

This is my 5th DE shave & im getting faster, but still giving respect to the blade.

I've binned the blade as it was a little grabby, assume that's a sign to replace?

When funds allow I want/need to buy a bowl, a nice citrus post shave balm & a splash on aftershave.

Thanks to all your help.

Second use of DR Harris Arlington. God Bless them. Loaded for roughly two minutes, a well churned, up to a wonderful and thick lather. If some time I bore myself with the MWF, this is a perfect alternative. And what a subtle and well build scent.
