Soap....Klar Seifen ..Ginger & lotus
Brush....Semouge 2000
Post....Thayers lavender
EDT....GFT Eucris

A very close shave with the Parker, it shaves very much like my short handled Progress only a little more aggressive and with a better knob.... :) The Klar soap is fab and I am loving the Ginger & Louts scent.
Finnished off with some Geo F Trumper's Eucris, so looking good and smelling great....

Thursday shave, and a return to the Schick.....

Blade - Chick
Cream - Truefitt & Hill "Almond"
Post shave - Nivea Two Phase

Working my way through a T&H sample pack. By far my favourite scent, thus far is the Almond. Always loved Figaro.

Also the first time I have used the Nivea Two Phase. Lovely stuff. Nice blast of menthol. After an initial greasy feeling - all absorbed, and a talc type softness.

All accompanied by some fine music:

First shave with general....DFS achieved !!

I've noticed quite a few of the guys on here change over the aluminium handle to a ss to add extra heft to the razor.
I actually enjoyed using the razor as is and found it to be a pleasant change from my ss razors, (variety and all that ) A nice smooth shave with no mishaps or redness, also the head of the general is similar to that of my ATT SE1, a + for me.
I would like to thank Olly, AKA, @Looney12345 for giving me the opportunity to own this razor, cheers mate !!
I'll see how the general shaves in the days/weeks ahead , so far so good.

Nice one Pat! Glad it worked out for you. Like yourself I prefer to use the aluminium handle. I don't think a S/S handle adds much, if any difference to the shave.

To early for me to give a review on the La Savonniere Du Moulin (donkey milk), I will be using the same shaving soap again on my next shave so far so good ;)
