Thanks to Paul for this gorgeous Wostenholm Pipe Razor.

It came with this felt lined leather pouch. Good weight in the hand for a straight. I can't wait to use it.

Whooo rhodium too?!?! Gorgeous. That's quite a razorHi @Dansco
Rhodium replate, from Chris at BackRoadsGold on Etsy.
I was thinking about sending the Slim Adjustable that I have to one of the refinishers. A funky colour combo was on the cards, but @windows95 reported a change in face feel with one he had done, so I scratched that plan.
It just worked out far better to get a razor supplied by BRG, as a complete package, ratehr tahn sending mine.
I sent a query on the Sat evening, 6pm UK time, and got an almost instant response to say he wasn't yet offering to rhodium plate customers razors, just doing "stock" ones first. It was a lucky coincidence that exactly the date code I wanted was already on his workbench for rhodium plating that day. Chris said he'd send over some pics when he was done.By 11:30pm that evening I had pics, said I was having it, invoiced and paid!!
And all for quite a lot less than a replate job at Razor Emporium, which was another option, but see the refinish thread.
Cheers, John
Says he whom has just blinded us all with the pics of his Wostenholm!!Whooo rhodium too?!?! Gorgeous. That's quite a razor
Looks very nice, what blades do you use in it? P.
I've had a go with the original blade but it's very mild. I assume that's because of 70 odd years of "shake-sharp".Looks very nice, what blades do you use in it? P.
Sweet! Good looking razor. P.I've had a go with the original blade but it's very mild. I assume that's because of 70 odd years of "shake-sharp".
Meanwhile I'm waiting for some adapters so it can take injector blades.
