I have watched this fascinating documentary on Youtube. Another of my interests - Roman history. The Teutoburg disaster caused panic in Rome as they had lost something like 10% of the legions. The situation was worse for the Rhine defences as the legions there were cut in half. Depending on your point of view that is either a good or a bad thing.View attachment 29007
9 AD Teutoburg Forest, when we Germans exceptionally were also one of the Goodies in world history.
I love the ancient Roman art and architecture and today`s Italian livestyle. Wished I was born as Italian in the capital city Rome.View attachment 29009

So bought the Saponificio Varesino 70th Anniversary soap as a treat for my new Omega 641 brush first lather. Question to peeps who have this soap, do you lather in the tin? If you do, do you remove to dry after use?
I will probably be doing this lather / shave on Saturday as still trying to get rid of the brush's funky smell
Thanks,
Brian

But at this time back in history Rome was just a conqueror and exploiter. Yes, they brought us urban cultur, but for what price?
