Post: Thayers witch hazel and Razorock Stallion Aftershave
Shave report from last night. I wasn't in the best frame of mind to write anything last night. I'd ‘got one on me'/'got my arse in my hands/ ‘pissed-off!' Take your pick? :cursing:
The Razorock Mamba was very kindly sent to me by James AKA
@Acer89. :thumbsup:
I'm afraid the Razorock Mamba was too mild for me. I struggled to get any blade feel or feedback on the first pass. It was only on the second pass I started feel the blade and hear any feedback. I did three full passes but my neck was still nowhere near close enough. I grabbed the ATT S2 to finish off.
Having used the Mamba last night it also confirms I don't like razor with the tabs of the blade concealed. There's a reason for overhang…
The Razorock Stallion soap and aftershave worked well, leaving my face feeling very soft and the scent hung around for a few hours too. I should have used a stiffer brush though. The Maseto Silvertip works wonders with creams but not really suited to soaps….well last night it didn't anyway. I guess it was just one of those shaves. :meh:
Thanks again to James for the loan of the razor. I do really appreciate all the razors you send me, even though it might not always come across this way.
Cheers
