Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower / Nivea Men Power Fresh Shower Gel.

Pre:

Warm wet flannel to my face.

Simple ~ Sensitive Pure Soap Bar.

Brush: Omega Midget.

Face Lather.

Soap: OSP Neroli.

Blade: Derby Extra .(3)

Razor: Parker Variant. (Settings) wtg, 1.5 xtg, 1.5 atg, + pick ups 2.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade peppermint eucalyptus, Tea Tree , lemon essential Oils + menthol crystals Witch Hazel Mixture./ Hai Karate ASL.

Boots ~ Cucumber Moisturising Cream.

Greetings,

Early morning shave,

The parker variant is such a solid well-balanced razor that pairs together with every de blade i've matched it up with it up with.

I personally find the derby extra blade doesn't pair together well with my more efficient razors so this morning i lowered the aggression settings and both the razor & blade was a comfortably smooth efficient duo.

A pleasurable 3 pass + pick ups near BBS shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling cool super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Vulfix 404-boar
Vitos Super Red
Personna Super Stainless Inj.
Personna S/S [ 6 ]
Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion

Feels rather small after using an AC/SE yesterday. Not a bad Shave, with the Razor being very effective around the upper lip and chin the overall finish being very acceptable.

Tuesday

OSP Barbershop
Kent Infinty synth
Face lather
Rockwell 6C (R4)
Personna Med Prep (4)
Thayer's Lavender and Aloe Vera
Fine Fresh Vetiver

Thought I'd dust off my travel brush (let's face it, it won't be going far this year). Nice and springy; a good face latherer.

The Rockwell, as usual, did the business in the R4 sweet spot.

Sotd - Monday the 13th of April - the day - same as last Monday and probably like the next to come - the shave was different.

Prep - facial scrub
razor - ATT Calypso M
blade - Nacet (1)
brush - Semogue LE mixed badger and boar
soap - RazoRock - Nomad - vegetarian but not vegan - depends on how you feel about lanolin
post - witch hazel
a/s - RazoRock Nomad
balm - none needed
scent - Creed - Bois de Portugal edp.

Result - all good - another shaving week begins. Apart from the fact I like the Nomad soap - I picked it this afternoon - the camels - granted Bactrian on the soap label - because I got a message from a close friend - who is currently somewhere in the Arabian desert SSW of Riyadh - he's a mining geologist - looking for stuff - I'm not sure what precisely - living out of a Land Cruiser - he thought there wasn't another human around for hundreds of square miles - lots of feral camels though - which - I have to admit is social distancing done par excellence. Got to take your hat off to that. Nice shave - as suspected - the Calypso took the Nacet a treat - the blade will be good for five days - no problem - I've enjoyed rediscovering them. Creed on a Monday? - I know - very decadent - nice shaving ritual - I hope you enjoy yours - cheers - I.
Any day's good for BdP, Iain ;)

A DFS Result today
Using the PIF'd Vitos From Arthur @Electrif, (thanks Arthur) i had a very nice slick lather mixed in the bowl with the JR#355.
The 6S and PSI blade performed very well and i enjoyed the shave.
My hair was spoiling the picture therefore the head shaver came out.
I am now sporting a #4 on the top and a staged #2 - 3 around the sides, My darlin' tidied up the back of my neck using the Babylissmen,
Not looking too bad, its by no means salon quality but it will do.

I am feeling a lot better for it.
Now then, i have volunteered to help the Mrs dye her hair, if there is no SOTD report tomorrow its because i have been disposed of.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All

This Mornings Shave

Preshave: African Black Soap
Razor: Karve SB D Plate in Brass
Blade: Polsilver Lodz
Brush: Cadman 30mm Synthetic
Soap: Signature Soaps Hibernian
Splash: Speick Active
Balm: Bart's Lime Oil
EDT: Essence Acqua Fresh (Lidl)

Very similar shave to yesterday except for the blade , the Polsilver Lodz in my opinion is an incredible blade it achieves very sharp and very smooth like no other blade I have tried. Yesterday I used a Gillette Silver Blue a great blade in it's own right but the Polsilver Lodz knocked spots of it. Shame they closed the Factory !!!
