Rob - I'd also recommend Farina Original 1709.
Good value, so you can afford to be generous with application.
Thanks Tom.

Blenheim Bouquet is a lovely floral.
Rob, I think you'll have to try some Penhaligon's Castile! I found longevity very good... If you email they should send you a sample for the price of postage (that's what I did last year with hammam.)
I think the longevity problems you're having is due to the fact they are Cologne strength which is rarely any stronger than aftershave... Castile is an EdT
Unless you get the 'perfume-parlour' version of Neroleee Portifeeenoo or whatever they dub it. Lasts pretty decently.Hi Rob, If you are looking for a Neroli based or Neroli heavy fragrance then you will find that longevity will always be a problem as it just doesn't keep pace. It's O.K as an opening note the only one I have had and it was only a sample was Neroli by Roja but it is expensive so I'd get a sample first. Bright Neroli by Ferarri is really nice and cheap but again it doesn't last. Incidentally I love Neroli but my wife detests anything heavy on it as she comments I smell like Toilet Duck.
Mugler Cologne has Neroli but also an astringent sourness to the smell I find a little off putting, I'm happy to sell mine cheap if you fancy a bottle. I also have a bottle of bright Neroli which I'd part with. No point wearing it when SWMBO doesn't like it.
I have had both. I didn't include Castile because as you noted it is a EDT. I did carry it in my travel kit until it ran out to be replaced by Aqua Citra.Interesting list
I notice Penhaligon's Douro on there, to me that smelt (rather strongly) of Brut... Someone expecting refreshing citrus may be in for a shock
Castile would be a better bet I'd say... Probably the closest to AdP I've tried (and with superior longevity) but not that much cheaper so I didnt recommend it.
Where are you based?Nice one James. I'll drop Penhaligons an email now.
I was assuming you would be more specific , anyway Penhaligon's has stores in Outlet Centres so you can get a bottle for around £45.00 instead of £98.00 RRP. Although there are some bargains with online perfume stores too.England.
