After the shave what?

Rinse, shake, wipe, shelf. Never had any issue with rust or anything else.

I rinse under hot tap, shake it hard. Open the head take the blade out and shake blade then put it back Full clean at blade change. No problems so far.

Rinse it and chuck it on the shelf 'til tomorrow.

Same here. Give it a rinse and put it on the shelf for the next day. Never had any issues.
