I always recommend that brushes are best left standing on their base:
Brushes are often placed on stands that don't quite hold them securely and they can and do fall off,,,,usually into the sink or on to a tile floor wher they can easily get cracked or chipped.
A brush that's been flick and towel dried won't have any water in the base to run off so it'll air and dry without being hung on a stand.
Daily sliding on and off a brush stand can leave a tough to remove mark on the shoulder of the brush.
Placing your brush knot up is the safest and best way to leave your brush in my opinion:icon_smile:
