Best shaving products??

Completely agree with the above.

Surely you know the H&S regulations over what you're allowed to use, sterilisation protocols etc? Let us know what restrictions you have to work under and we'll be in a better position to advise, although as already mentioned, a lot of it is down to personal preference.

I'm currently stubbly I'm a barber with many years of experience in the shop Iv opened shaving is really popular so I'm just trying to get the best for my customers is all.. I like the sound of prorasso but just want to get everything as best as possible.. What towels are best?

Several people have asked you for more information with a view to providing help and advice and all you're giving in return is "I'm a barber tell me what to buy." I would expect this thread to die before long if you're not a bit more forthcoming.

I want to know what is the best product.. That's it! I'm not shaving on myself so you don't need to know my background..

What's the best products of all the equipment? Just some names will do.. Obviously health & safety an cleanliness is most important but would like the best quality..

The best person to ask is a member who goes by the name of 'Iavenoidea' he should guide you best. Send him a private message and await the truth.

OK, you've convinced me. You're top of your game and want the very best right? These should get you off to a good start:

You'll want at least a couple of these so that they can be cleaned between customers:

You'll need to keep them sharp:

Why mess about when it comes to brushes, get a nice one! Again, you probably want more than one:

Not to worry, the soap's comparatively cheap:

Hope this helps. :)

Hi @Alexk , sadly your question is like asking 'what the best cheese is' or 'how long is a piece of string'.

However there are some respected brands you might want to look into:
Soap/Cream - TOBS, Cella, Arko, Proraso
Brushes - These are badger, boar, synthetic. Look at Semogue, Omega, Plisson, Muhle.
Razors - As a barber, use whatever H&S advises.
Towels - Rub it on your face and see if you like it!

I would also suggest that before you start shaving others with these products, you learn to shave yourself so you get a feel for products and technique! The previous post has some excellent ideas for the best possible starter kit.

Sharing a little personality never hurt anybody also!

Obviously I have shaved in the past, but if got designer stubble atm. I'm using a cut throat razor as that's industry standard..
Thanks I'll take a look at the above

Right now I'm using a cut throat with towels that were from previous owners.. And on 2nd pass I'm using shaving oil..

Anymore suggestions welcome, any towel suggestions? Was looking at these...

Look at this on eBay:

Beauty Pro Facial Wrap Towels (6)

Just coz these seem adequate.. But suggestions welcome for best ones?

Best off ordering the complete Proraso line from Barber Blades, you get a trade discount on an already inexpensive but quality brand. They have the brush, soap, aftershaves, pre shaves. Also as mentioned before about animal products, Proraso are veg based.
Its a tried and tested classic barber brand which will be great for you. At my previous shop we used the Green range with menthol and people loved it.
Barber Blades will also carry decent shavettes and towels.

Hi Alexk, I had some of the black towels from this seller that were awful, black dye at every rinse and just shed fibre all over my face and head. Credit due, great customer service, they were replaced with a new pack but still not ideal..
