I'll be on the lookout for an O4 (1969) Gillette black beauty in a couple of months. Long handled version preferred but not too fussed if it's a short handle. Any out there?

It would be a black handled super speed or a "black beauty" super adjustable. For the British side of the pond it would either be a Slim Twist or a G1000 B2 date code.

I don't know if it is possible. I am looking at getting a birth year DE razor to put away for my lad so I can give it to him when he starts shaving. My lad was born 01/08/2003. If any one knows if this is possible with the newer razors.

I've settled on a 1962 Gillette Slim. As long as it works I'll have it then send it to Delta Echo for refinishing.
