Boots Witch Hazel gel

I picked up a tube of this as it's quite cheap: it's good stuff

It has a very strong Witch Hazel scent, which I love, it soothes the skin and is a nice light moisturiser for hot days. It won't make you feel like sweat is building up under a layer of cream. Eurgh!

It does contain alcohol, so hydrocarbon haters may prefer GFT skin food. Personally I found it worked better in every way. GFT do have loads of great products though. Also I imagine the long term cost for skin food would be less.

I think I'll pick up a tube of the TOBS aftershave gel to see how it compares.

this is good stuff, worth the couple of quid.

i've been using it instead of a aftershave balm and also as a moisturizer on days i havent shaved.

How about chucking a bottle of that into one of those big 500ml bottles of Rose / Lavender / Cologne water they do for about £0.07 ?

Chuck in some glycerin and menthol crystals and you might have the makings of the very best aftershave product on the planet.
