I am looking at getting a few knots for doing a couple of brush refurbs, I have seen the golden nib. But was thinking of getting some from the ebay seller ace shaving has anyone had any experiences with these knots to how dense they are and how soft the tips are and the such.

Come on i know about TGN and have tried there knots what I am looking is for something different to what they do maybe a different / better hair and more density. Someone must have had a punt on this eBay seller or am I going to have to take one for the team

I've not tried them Pedro, I've thought about it but never gotten around to it. It looks like you're the guinea pig.

There's this place as well.

Our very own Rod has recommended Ace a couple of times over at B&B

I've tested Ace knots a few times and have found them to be pretty awful.
The ones Ive tested were very prickly and scratchy, shed, and very poor quality in my opinion.( Knots tested at different times over an extended period)
I'll test some more in the future but to date,,,not good.

Seriously Pedro, I've been making brushes for myself, family and a few customers for a couple of years now and I highly recommend TGN. Tonys' service and products are topknotch. I tried to find a new source for some "Made In England" knots but just cannot find anyone or company that will accommodate my requests. I even tried to contact Rooney but that's like trying to get in touch with Elvis.
