Now the seller is NOT making any claims about this being a Gillette Double ring so he/she is not at fault at all here - but I can see how some people, including myself, could spot this razor and think that it is - and be tempted to bid high.
I may be completely wrong, and correct me if I am, but a genuine Gillette Double Ring will have 14 teeth in total (two end and 12 teeth) - where this one has 13 - which is a very common number of teeth for later clones.
That and the end-knob looks odd.
