Colgate

I nearly went for these, but they looked a bit too corroded to me and thought that the metal may be a bit thin in these areas. 1920 soap, what does it lather up like? Don't know if I would put this on my face but I would be interested to see how it lathers though.

Ha ha cheers dont think i'll be using the 'soap' as it looks more like drinking choc powder. Seem ok otherwise still got original lid liner in. Got one soaking in cola at the mo see what it come out like. :-0
 
Just noticed you are up the road in Pompey, I was born and bred there.

Cola should clean them up well I would of thought too. Post back some after photographs, would be most interested to see them all cleaned up.
 
If there is anything left of them i will ha ha. My wife is pompey bred. Ive lived here 7 yrs. love it. Where do you reside now?

Already after 1 hr coming up clean ;-) only soaked up to 1/2 inch from top.

Wow that's looking good already, wish I had gone for them now. ;-)

I have lived all over the UK, and abroad in the Netherlands, (8 years). We tried moving back to Portsmouth before deciding the countryside, we are now living in the small village of Wickham just up the M27 from Pompey.
