I left a Compact Flash memory card in a shirt pocket and it went through the wash. That was about 6 years ago, and the card still works!

I left a Citizen Eco Drive Watch in my trouser pocket. It went through a full 40 degree cycle with no ill affects.

Stuck a newly acquired '58 FatBoy through the dishwasher yesterday.

Seems to have done it no harm.

When I get home I'll give it a spray with clippercide mostly for it's lubricating effect and it should be good to use.

I put vintage razors in the dishwasher all of the time, it's a great way to stylize the razor. I have yet to have one come out damaged.
