Hi all, I'm quite new to this. I originally bought a Dovo Shavette, I used it once and it was OK - very sharp, but felt almost tacky and cheap. So I have now bought a new Dovo £69.00 Ebay, a strop £14.99, the paste £9.99 and another vintage Dovo 2Bismark for £45 all in.
I plan to restore the vintage blade (it doesn't need much) and hone it myself then sell it. How much realistically do you think I could get or do you think the price was fair?
Any tips on cleaning the steel up would be much appreciated too.
