Ever Ready Sun Ray Set NOS

Today I received what to me I would consider the single edge "Holy grail". There was much excitement when the post arrived and I couldn't get that parcel opened quick enough to finally set eyes on my latest acquisition.
A very clean and absolutely mint complete Sun ray set. Including outer carton, instructions and little price sign which was an added bonus. The horse hide strop is still wrapped. A dollop of grease remains under the opening mechanism on the razor head from when it left the factory floor. To say I'm delighted is an understatement.

Next picture shows it alongside the single razor cased set with separate stropper.

Beautiful. I have a Sun Ray set but no shipping box or instructions. As Darkbulb says, the Sun Ray is rarely seen.

David - despite it being new, still having the grease on the hinges and still having the wax paper on the strop, use it!

You guys know that I am a massive SAAB fan, no? Within the last decade I had the sheer joy of seeing a timewarp 1985 'Tjugofem' model SAAB 900. It had 17 miles on the clock. The ignition turned with such ease and the engine caught first revolution, the window winders were not stuck and slipped up and down with ease, the dash buttons, dials and gizmos all worked, clicking around with new car feel ... and the doors, the doors you just let go and they closed, click clunk. Wonderful!

What a joy to have a razor in even better condition.
