I've used Derby for years in 34c / 38c. Fat Boy came with 100 assorted blades for me to try out, very generous.

Inside is equally clean.

Last one... the curvature of the blade

Very nicely done, feel free to submit one or two pictures for the calendar.

It's easy to miss from both buyer and seller but check the blade gap on both sides of the razor, it could just be the angle of the shot but it looks uneven.

Very happy to supply any of the high res jpgs for the calendar, who would I submit to?

Also, displaying my newbie colours here, how can I best tell if blade gap is correct? A certain setting 1-9 best? Is it the distance of the blade up from the safety bar? Or the amount of the blade exposed from the top part? Would unevenness effect the quality of the shave, or is it just an aesthetic consideration?

Very nice photographs...

Thanks, I usually snap on film http://davidwoodhead.net but these were digital for fast turnaround

Given your standard of work I'm not quite sure you entering is fair on the other contestants/submissions but I'm not organising it so here you go....

To check whether the blade gap is even on both sides I'd start on setting 1 and just compare the space between the blade and the safety bar, do the same for the next few settings, if it's even for the first few it should be even for the rest.
