Actually, I have started an email dialog, being honest and seeing what they can do.
I might have a shot as there is such a huge difference between head and handle.

Too bad. The issue is with the vinegar being acidic as well as gold plate being soft. Hope you find a solution. Stateside we have stuff like simple green, I just wish I could offer more help.
