I picked up some Quink in black yesterday from my local stationers and it's rather a watery black.
That said, it has allowed me to try out the pump-full pens with mixed results. The Hero and two Wing Sungs are all ultra fine (think architect fineliner) with the Hero being nice and smooth with an even line, the Wing Sung 234 likewise but even finer and the Wing Sung 380 is a scratchy little beast. I think the tines might be mis-aligned, as when i write in a certain direction then pen actually scratches the top layer off the paper
Won another Parker 45 off the bay yesterday, flighter model which looks to have a 14ct nib for £7 along with a Queensway clone of a 45 for £3. Hopefully I'll have more luck with those!
