Gillette Slimtwist date?

I've been digging around on the net and found a number of threads asking the same question but with no satisfactory answer.

I have my dad's old slim twist, it's got a blue handle, made in England with the date code T3. I know it's unusual for an English razor to have a date code and there doesn't seem to be much info on how English date codes worked. Even if they followed the American system this could date from either '73 or "98!

Any idea how to date it?
 
That'll be 1973. They stopped making those around the late seventies/early eighties I believe. English Gillette razors did start to be date coded in the seventies and they used the US date coding system. I am 90% sure but if I am wrong someone will correct me!
