This week I received from Amazon (using, of course, the forum link) this thing:

Bean Grinder

I have still got a couple of bags of ground coffee to get through (about two weeks worth) so have a little time to get in some decent beans to use in my cafetiere.

I tend to go for a stronger flavour, other than that I haven't much of a preference for anything else.

Over to you enablers!

I use Climpson's http://www.climpsonandsons.com mainly because their only 5 minutes from me and have lovely freshly roasted beans.

I usually go for The Baron.
Great stuff!!

Per jaycey's post, the ideal is to find a roaster (artisan/craft roaster rather than bulk) local to yourself and buy beans within a few days of roasting. With postal prices getting painful, it makes sense to buy in person. (Not from Whittard, though.) Enjoy :)

When I read the title, I honestly thought 'angle grinder' and couldn't make the connection with shaving.....typical tea jenny, I suppose.

...just don't take anything you read there at face value ;)

I don't understand your comment, but as always, make your own mind up. Half the fun is learning and I have gleaned a broad knowledge from that site as well as this
Lurk and learn, thats what forums are for, in addition to participation
