Grandstand or World of Sport

Grandstand is great. Love the way it rocks out in the middle section, and that kettle drum going boing.

I can't recall World of Sport at all. I was born in '74 so perhaps it was a bit before my time, or there was always something better on the other side. Not so keen on this tune but I've no nostalgia there.
 
World of sport theme for me I could never look at Frank Bough the same way again without seeing him snort some white dust up his nose and then procceed to bang some hot bitches in a wild sex orgy free for all, you dirty old bastard Frank.
 
If it's the theme tune we are talking about then it has to be .... Sportsnight....

As far as the programme itself then Grandstand had the better sports. WoS was, if memory serves, predicated on a diet of horse racing and wrestling, with some football analysis thrown in.

Dickie Davies was quite suave though.

:D i was in hospital about 15 years ago, and there was an old bloke on my ward who claimed to be the wrestler 'the black mask' and he was always going on about his fights with masambula.
